 MarianGMC launched the Discord channel on August 10, 2020. What began as a solo project has since evolved into a vibrant and welcoming community, supported by a passionate and dedicated team.

The original goal was to create a Virtual Trucking Company (VTC) and a safe space where members could chat, access mod information, and participate in convoys. As the community grew, so did its interests—expanding into map combos, which quickly became a cornerstone of the server.

A major turning point came when a beloved community figure, the well-known Wombat Trucker, sadly fell ill and could no longer continue providing his much-loved map combos. We send him our deepest wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

In his absence, the community faced a significant void. Stepping up to meet this challenge, a dedicated member of GMC Community volunteered their time and energy to carry forward Wombat’s legacy—ensuring that everyone could continue enjoying the game and its vast collection of modded maps.
